These Terms of Service explain the basis on which you may use the Pathfinder Development website and access services provided by Pathfinder CIC. By using our website, contacting us, booking a service, purchasing a course, attending training, or engaging with Pathfinder CIC, you agree to these terms.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Who We Are
Pathfinder CIC provides holistic, trauma-informed wellbeing support, training, community services and organisational wellbeing support. Our website is www.pathfinderdevelopment.co.uk and you can contact us at [email protected].
Our address is 7 Charlotte Street, Perth, PH1 5LW.
Our Services
Pathfinder CIC may offer services including NADA sessions, Reiki, Bio Resonance Scanning, hypnotherapy, life coaching, somatic trauma-informed training, practitioner training, online courses, memberships, community wellbeing programmes, retreats, corporate wellbeing support, bespoke sessions and wellness days.
The services available may change from time to time. We may update, remove, pause, or adapt services where needed to maintain quality, safety, availability, or suitability.
Wellbeing Disclaimer
Pathfinder CIC provides supportive wellbeing services and training. Our services are not a replacement for emergency care, medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, crisis intervention, or advice from a qualified medical professional.
If you have a medical condition, mental health diagnosis, medication question, crisis concern, addiction-related risk, pregnancy-related consideration, or any other health concern, you should seek advice from a GP, emergency service, or suitably qualified healthcare professional as appropriate.
If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 999 in the UK or contact emergency support immediately.
Suitability and Personal Responsibility
We aim to create safe, supportive and trauma-informed spaces. However, it is your responsibility to decide whether a service, session, training or programme is suitable for you, and to tell us about any relevant access needs, health considerations, allergies, pregnancy, injuries, medication issues, trauma triggers, or other circumstances that may affect your participation.
You agree to engage respectfully, follow reasonable safety guidance, and let us know if you feel unwell or uncomfortable during a session, training or event.
Bookings and Payments
Bookings may be made through our website, booking system, email, course platform, or another route we make available. Payment terms, prices, availability and booking requirements may vary depending on the service.
Where payment is required in advance, your booking may not be confirmed until payment has been received. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not normally affect bookings that have already been confirmed unless there has been an obvious pricing error.
Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected].
The cancellation, transfer and refund terms may vary depending on the type of service, course, training, retreat, membership or corporate booking. Any specific cancellation terms provided at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
We may need to cancel, rearrange, or adapt a session, course, training or event due to illness, low attendance, venue issues, safety concerns, staff availability, or circumstances outside our control. If this happens, we will aim to provide reasonable notice and offer an appropriate alternative where possible.
Online Courses, Memberships and Digital Content
Where we provide online courses, memberships, recordings, downloads, or other digital resources, access is for your personal or organisational use as agreed at the time of purchase. You must not copy, share, resell, publish, distribute, or adapt our digital content without written permission.
Access to digital content may be provided through a third-party platform. You may also need to follow that platform’s own terms and privacy information.
Training and Practitioner Programmes
Some Pathfinder training programmes may include participation requirements, attendance expectations, assessment activities, supervision, practical work, reflection, or standards of conduct. Completion of a training programme does not automatically guarantee employment, income, client outcomes, professional registration, insurance eligibility, or legal authority to practise unless this is expressly stated in writing.
You are responsible for checking any professional, insurance, regulatory, safeguarding, or legal requirements that apply to your own work, business, practice, organisation, or location.
Corporate and Organisational Services
Corporate wellbeing, bespoke sessions, wellness days and training for organisations may be subject to separate written proposals, agreements, invoices, cancellation terms, safeguarding expectations, and delivery requirements. If separate written terms are agreed, those terms will apply alongside these Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, the specific written agreement will take priority for that service.
Respectful Use and Conduct
You agree not to misuse our website, booking systems, course platforms, contact forms, social media pages, events, sessions or community spaces. This includes not posting or sending abusive, discriminatory, threatening, misleading, unlawful, harmful, spam-related or disruptive content.
We reserve the right to refuse service, remove access, end participation, or take appropriate action where behaviour is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the wellbeing of participants, staff, practitioners, volunteers, or the wider community.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on our website, courses, training materials, resources, workbooks, recordings, images, branding and written materials belongs to Pathfinder CIC or is used with permission. You may view and use our website and resources for personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless we give written permission for another use.
You must not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, modify, publish, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Website Information
We aim to keep our website accurate, helpful and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, current or error-free. Website content is provided for general information and should not be relied upon as medical, legal, financial, or professional advice.
We may update, change, suspend, or remove parts of the website at any time.
Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, booking platforms, course platforms, social media pages, or external resources. These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, Pathfinder CIC will not be responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, losses caused by your misuse of our services or website, business losses where you are using services as a consumer, or issues caused by third-party platforms, internet failures, or events outside our reasonable control.
Privacy
Our use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Please read it alongside these Terms of Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date. By continuing to use our website or services after changes are published, you agree to the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. The courts of Scotland will have jurisdiction, unless consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere in the UK.
